Feliz Thursday (5 days to go baby!) ;-)  To welcome Winter’s first day (brrrrr now where did Fall much less 2012 go?)….I’m finally debuting my über-favorite fur coat on the blog….in my super comfort zone look….being the last weekend before Christmas!  ;-)

I’d also like to take this opportunity to profusely thank the gorgeous Rachel Ashley of the blog Fashionably Living for sharing the spotlight on her Liebster Award by naming yours truly as one of her favorite blogs (so sweet!).  In more ways than one, we are so alike….both adoring our moms, skirts, prints and Blake Lively’s closet. ;-)(read here to get to know more of her!)

Check out too my link today with Look What I Got hosted by the blogs: Penniless Socialite and The Tiny Heart! ;-)

Smile….take the Christmas rush in stride and enjoy whatever’s left of the holidays ….. I’ll see you back December 28 for a little year-ender post (but I won’t stop checking out your lovely blogs from time to time during this brief hiatus ;-))!

MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone!! ♥♥

Little Black Dress: Holiday Edition

little-black-dresslittle-black-dressScala-sinamay-feather-spray-fascinatorGuess-platform-shoesfascinatorI’m wearing:  Dress (Retro Cross Straps V-neck with Velvet Stitching given by Choies), Fascinator (Scala Sinamay Feather Spray given by Dorfman-Pacific), Sunglasses (Halston @ TJ Maxx), Purse (Merona @ Target), Shoes (Guess @ Marshalls) and a SMILE (my own!) :-)

Joyeux Monday everyone (8 days to go baby)!!  The holidays will always be my perfect excuse to doll up and go all out on the glamour and sparkle…..this time via the 2nd of 3 installments of my collaboration with Choies.  I was looking for something sparkly, flattering and age-appropriate amongst their huge collection …..but I got smitten along the way with this very interesting retro-inspired LBD….the plunging criss-cross V-neck and the velvet details on the side (which I’m sure would help flatter any shape)….are just too hard to ignore! ;-)

Now the sparkle part was provided by this hot pink shoes (this one would also work) and this fancy Scala Collezione Sinamay Feather Fascinator (it certainly made me feel like a princess and a rock star! :-)) given by the lovely PR people of Dorfman Pacific (thanks for thinking of me!), one of the largest headwear companies in the world.

Because it’s Monday, I’m happily linking again with the blogs Not Dead Yet StyleWatch What I’m Wearing and Lily Among Thorns!

Let’s all bask in the spirit of the season while praying for the souls of the angels who have gone before us in Newtown, CT….. Have the best of the holidays everyone!! ♥♥

Leopard Again

Foreign-Exchange-leopard-print-blazer

Vera-Wang-for-Kohls-denim-leggingsbrown-knee-high-bootsfold-up-flatsI’m wearing:  Blazer (Foreign Exchange), Tank Top (American Eagle), Denim Leggings (Vera Wang @ Kohl’s), Belt (Ross), Sunglasses (House of Harlow @ Marshalls), Bag (Michael Kors @ Nordstrom Rack), Boots (Franco Sarto @ Marshalls), Flats (in gold given by AfterFlats)

Taking a break from all those dresses and coats to settle back into my comfort zone….the leopard prints….with this blazer I got from the never-ending “buy 1-take 1″ sale (I think it’s still ongoing) of Foreign Exchange in Cerritos.  I just loved the cut and material that I got this exact same blazer for my daughter for the “take 1″ deal? ;-)  Just for fun, I will try to do a post with both of us wearing this blazer when she gets back here from college (that is, if there are no violent reactions :-)).

Via this post, I’m featuring a product which I believe is a must in any stiletto-loving lady’s wardrobe….. After Flats, those fold up flats, which come in handy when those heels just become too painful.  What I like is these roll up shoes come in super chic colors and are packed in a cute and compact clutch which can be converted to a tote bag….cool isn’t it?

In the spirit of the season….After Flats is giving all you lovelies out there an exclusive 15% discount off your entire order valid until January 31, 2013 (use discount code: redtagchiclosangeles).  Just remember to click “Apply” before wrapping up your purchase! :-)

Ok, I will see you guys again on Monday with yet another dress from Choies….. this time in something which mirrors the festive season! ;-)

I’m loving the Christmas rush……Happy weekend everyone!! ♥♥

My Choies

Happy Monday everyone!! Pretty excited to start this week because I’m finally unveiling the first outfit from my latest collaboration with my very generous sponsor Choies (they’re currently having a site-wide sale)…. your one-stop online shop for the latest in high street fashion.  It was quite a challenge going over their vast collection…. choosing the most flattering and age-appropriate over a sea of youthful, punky, edgy yet so chic looks. ;-) So this uber-fab dress coat (also available in blue here) with collar and sleeve leather details is a natural choice for me…. just thinking of all the looks I could create with it this Winter and Spring (yes, time flies!) makes me one happy momma! :-)

By the way, Choies sent over this coat for me to review and feature.  All the opinions thereof, are ALL mine (read my disclaimer here) and mine alone.

Smile through the holiday rush…. Have a joyous week everyone!! ♥♥
