Winter Style :: Quilted Puffer Vest

banana-republic-quilted-puffer-vest

To say that I’m a huge fan of the vest (especially the quilted puffer kind) is quite an understatement.  I have sworn my love for this super versatile layering piece ever since I stepped in U.S. shores a few years ago.  It’s the perfect match for Southern California’s eternally Spring temps!  Aside from its cozy warmth – I love how it can be dressed up or down all winter long.

I have an old faux fur-lined hooded one that I absolutely love to pieces and I have been on the hunt for another one for quite a while now before it wears out.  So I guess the stars aligned again for me when I found another vest (belt, buckles and pockets yay!!) of my dreams at the Banana Republic outlet last Black Friday.

On that note, I am already wishing everyone a festive yet sane, safe and stress-free holiday season! ♥

In all honesty, I’ve never EVER been a fan of the puffer vest because, as the name infers, I always felt that it puffed me up, you know :) but I do think you might have just changed my mind completely. You look absolutely masterful in this outfit, so strong and bold. And those Cognac boots. I die.

I just bought my first vest as an adult, and it’s a distressed denim style. I can’t wait to find ways to style it. It’s my first step into the world of vests, and hopefully it’ll ease me into more fun styles like the one you’re wearing here. Love how the tan boots pop against all the dark neutrals!

I’m such a vest fan too! I’ve never seen one like this that’s a puffer vest style and has a belt, but I absolutely love it! It’s so cute how you styled it with that leather skirt and ankle boots too!

You are quilted perfection in this vest and it looks great paired with your leather skirt. And those Zara booties are fabulous!
